Description:
From the Greek onos, ass. Shrub with woody stems at the base, branched and very thorny. The leaves are made up of three small petioles, on the basis of which it
has
provided
a
toothed, with short petioles. Flowers grow, sometimes isolated, others in groups of two or three in the armpit of leaves higher. The chalice is tubular, with five long, sharp teeth, tomentosa; Corolla, which is about twice as long,
has
five petals in pink, with two soldiers forming the keel. The fruits are small pulses, barely longer than the calyx, and contain three to four seeds circular dark. It grows from coast to the mountains, especially in the arid and rocky places, on calcareous soils. Is collected from September to November.
