MALARIA
It is a parasitic infectious disease, also well - known like Malaria, that can get to be very serious and to affect to several people of a community creating true epidemics in regions of the world whose temperatures oscillate between the 27 and 33°C. and are very humid.

It is caused by some of the four stocks of protozoarios microorganisms known comoPlasmodium and that are: the Plasmodium Falciparum, the Plasmodium malariae, the Plasmodium Vivax and the Plasmodium Ovale.

When the mosquito, in whose saliva they are the Plasmodium, pricks a person, the unicellular parasites penetrate to weaves of the organism, move by the sanguineous torrent towards the liver, in where they mature and they are multiplied quickly and after incubating between one to two weeks, they return to the blood by thousands, penetrating and destroying red globules, in cyclical form, which causes the palúdicas crises.

In each big wave of destruction, a series of symptoms appears, that can vary in agreement with the in question stock.

The paludismo is transmitted generally by the puncture of the females of the Anopheles mosquito infected and the puncture risk is generally greater during the night, but also it can be contracted by means of a transfusion of contaminated blood or by the shared use of needles between drug users.

The infection risk increases during the time of rains and high temperatures and has much to do with the geographic zone, reason why the travellers must have much taken care of with the punctures of moscos. It is rare but probable that the puncture of mosco is made during the aerial flights when some mosquito strains itself in the airplane.
