Cotton is a herbaceous plant known by all, since the fiber that is extracted from it is used to as the material cures, as well as in many other applications then we'll see. In Spain, cotton does not usually last more than one season: sown in spring and dies in winter.

It has large leaves, rib of palm, divided into five segments in the lower and three higher. The flowers are born at a time in the armpits of the leaves, which are sustained by their bars. It is a plant native to East and now widespread throughout the peninsula.

Another component of the oil of cotton, proteolytic diastase, is used as a potent anthelmintic, although it must be managed according to specific guidelines. In fact, is widely used in cases of people who do not tolerate the bark of the roots of the pomegranate or the macho fern. Cotton is applied topically on any wound, either alone or soaked in an antiseptic substance.
