The body of the fungus fruitful.

Active Principles.

Resinous substances, agaricina, colesterina, palmityl alcohol.

Drug Action.

A small dose, the agaricina is anhidrótico: paralyzes the nerve endings of the sweat glands. At higher doses acts as a laxative or purgative and as a respiratory analéptico.

Indications.

Hyperhidrosis. On the domestic route has been used for asthma and constipation.

Side Effects.

The agaricina may initially produce headaches, but usually well tolerated.

Used at high doses produces a laxative effect drastic.

Galenica forms / Dosage.

Infusion: 1 gram per cup before bed (on hyperhidrosis) 2 to 3 g as a purgative.

Shorts prescribe treatments.
