Active Principles.

Essential oil (1 - 3%) sabinol, sabineno, tannins, Podophyllotoxin (0. 2%) coumarin, sabinina.

Drug Action.

Emenagogo. At higher doses, emetocatártico, oxytocin. In external use, the essential oil is blistering and keratolytic, which is used as antiverrugoso.

Indications.

Prescripición not recommend its use in oral see precautions.

Caution / Poisoning.

In internal use, especially berries, can cause digestive disorders and nervous. It is a dangerous abortion, often causing the death of the mother before the expulsion of the fetus.
