It is

weed belonging to the
family
of the lips, often confused with another plant of the same genus: the Spica Lavandula (
lavender
) In fact, it is of 2 different species,
but
in some areas of Spain is attributed to the
female
and male Lavandula Spica to the Lavandula latifolia.
In any case, the Alhucema is unlike any other species by the stem and high - Ramos and the broad leaves and whitish. In addition, the aroma that dismisses this plant is not as nice as that of
lavender
. One grows on the slopes of hills and lowland, between the bushes and forests in the not too lush.
In flowering also easy to distinguish from
lavender
, as it does

lavender

Infusion:
This is prepared with
a
dose equivalent to
a
small spoonful of dessert for every cup of boiling water. They can take up to 3 cups
a
day.
Essence:
From 2 to 4 drops administered on
a
sugar cube or in encapsulated form.
External use:
Both infusion in the form of washes or towels or using the substance in
alcoholic
solution, for the same purpose.
Stimulating. Antiseptic. Antispasmodic.
