Active Principles.

Alkaloids aporfínicos: glaucina, catalina, glauvina.

Drug Action.

Antitussive, colerética. Latex is used topically as antioverrucoso (antiviral)

Indications.

Hepatobiliary dyskinesia, irritative cough. Polularmente, latex, for the treatment of warts.

Contraindications.

Do not use if there via internal liver failure or obstruction of tracks Bilar.

Caution / Poisoning.

Due to the presence of alkaloids, we recommend not to prescribe by internal.

The latex is an irritant and the blistering of mucous membranes.

Do not use in children.

Galenica forms / Dosage.

Internal use:

Infusion: one teaspoon per cup of coffee, infuse 10 minutes. Two cups per day, after meals.

External use:

Latex: topical application on the warts, while protecting the surrounding areas with Vaseline FILANTE.
