Active Principles.

Essential oil (1%) of poorly studied composition, suggested the presence of carvone.

Drug Action.

Are attributed diuretic properties, appetizers, digestive, spasmolytic, worming, and colerética emenagogas.

Indications.

Ample are popularly in the treatment of inappetence, dyskinesias bile, gastrointestinal spasms, Oxyuriasis, taeniasis, lambliasis, amenorrhea, and dysmenorrhea.

Contraindications.

Pregnancy, infancy.

Caution / Poisoning.

Plant poorly studied: take caution when prescribing medicines. It can produce gastrointestinal and nervous disorders, and even prove abortive. As anthelmintic recommend prescribing remedies more experienced.

Galenica forms / Dosage.

Dust: 2 to 5 g per day (intestinal parasites) followed by the administration of a laxative.

Infusion: one tablespoon per cup of dessert. Infuse 10 minutes. One cup a day, fasting.
