Active Principles.

Abundant mucilages, flavonoids, potassium salts.

Drug Action.

The abundance of mucilages, produced and antitussive effect demulcent, forming part of the so - called "species chest. " Flavonoids justify its virtues as colagogo strong, especially fresh flowers. The potassium salts are responsible for their actions slightly diuretic.

Indications.

Respiratory ailments: sore throat, bronchitis; dyskinesias hepatobibiliares, cholecystitis, gastritis, cystitis, oliguria.

Galenica forms / Dosage.

Infusion: 30 g / l, 2 - 3 cups a day.
