Abundant mucilages, flavonoids,

salts.
Drug Action.
The abundance of mucilages, produced and antitussive effect demulcent, forming part of the so - called "species chest. " Flavonoids justify its virtues as colagogo strong, especially fresh flowers. The
potassium
salts are responsible for their actions slightly diuretic.
Indications.
Respiratory
ailments: sore throat,
bronchitis
; dyskinesias hepatobibiliares, cholecystitis,
gastritis
,
cystitis
, oliguria.
Galenica forms / Dosage.
Infusion:
30 g / l, 2 - 3 cups
a
day.
