The fruits.

Active Principles.

Abundant vitamin C (greater content as the lemon and pink canine) mucilages, carotenoids, flavonoids glycosides, organic acids.

Drug Action.

General tonic, vitamin astringent (antidiarrheal healing) demulcent, anti - inflammatory, lipid.

Indications.

Asthenia, convalescence, adjuvant treatments in Anti - anemia. Gastritis, gastroenteritis. Hyperlipidaemias, prevention of arteriosclerosis.

Contraindications.

Do not prescribe dosage forms with alcoholic content for oral administration in children under two years or consultants in the process of alcohol addiction.

Caution / Poisoning.

Take into account the alcohol content of the extract fluid from the dye and syrup.

Galenica forms / Dosage.

Infusion: 40 - 50 grams of fresh fruit per liter. Infuse 30 minutes, two or three cups a day.

Fluid extract (1: 1) 15 - 30 drops, one to three times a day.

Tincture (1: 5) 30 - 50 drops, one to three times a day.

Syrup (15% extract fluid) 2 or 3 tablespoons per day.
