Active Principles.
Essential
oil (0. 5 - 1%) estragole or methyl - cavicol (60 - 70%) terpenes (15 to 20%) ocimene, phellandrene; heterósidos coumarin (herniarina)

Appetizer, eupéptico,
Carmine
, spasmolytic, estrogen, diuretic, antiseptic, anthelmintic.
Indications.
Inappetence,
dyspepsia
hiposecretoras, meteorism,
amenorrhea
,
dysmenorrhea
, rheumatism,
intestinal
parasitosis.
Contraindications.
Assess the appropriateness of its administration (particularly in the case of
essential
oil) depending on their estrogenic action.
Caution / Poisoning.
Caution when prescribing the
essential
oil:
allergic
reactions occur. Do not exceed the dose indicated: it can be exciting
central
nervous
system
and cause
gastrointestinal
irritation.
Galenica forms / Dosage.
Infusion:
one teaspoon per cup of
coffee
. Infuse 10 minutes. Three cups
a
day.
Essential
oil: 1 to 3 drops on
a
sugar cube, or in capsules (25 to 50 mg / CAPS) one to three times
a
day.
