Diuretic. Disorders of the urinary tract: calculations, cystitis, urine low.

Used Part.

Sumidades the air.

Active Principles.

Potassium salts, tannins, bitter principles, flavonoids: kenferol; mucilages.

Drug Action.

Diuretic, because of the flavonoids and potassium salts. Demulcent, by mucilages. Colagogo for the flavonoids and bitter principles. Vulnerary (healing) by the tannins.

Indications.

States that require an increase in urine output: urinary disorders (cystitis, ureteritis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, oliguria, urolithiasis) hiperazotemia, hyperuricemia, gout, high blood pressure, edema, overweight accompanied by fluid retention.

Hepatobiliary dyskinesias, cholecystitis.

In external use topical: wounds, burns, bruises.

Contraindications.

Do not prescribe oral dosage forms with alcohol content to children under two years or consultants in the process of alcohol addiction.

Caution / Poisoning.

The pollen is an allergen Parietaria trigger for a large percentage of seasonal respiratory allergies.

Its use as a diuretic in the presence of hypertension, heart disease or kidney failure moderate or severe, should be done only by prescription and under medical supervision, to the danger that can result in uncontrolled contribution of liquids, the possibility of an uncompensated tension.

Internal use:

Tincture (1: 10) 50 - 100 drops, 2 or 3 times a day.

Syrup (5% extract fluid) 1 to 3 tablespoons a day.

Juice of fresh plant: 25 to 100 grams, once or several times a day.

External use:

Infusion: implemented in the form of washes or towels.

Fluid extract, tincture, extract or glycolic creams or gels applied topically.
